Making Disciples of All Nations

Below are some FREELY AVAILABLE tools I personally use and recommend, as I have found them a great source of help in my walk with God. It by no means aims to be an exhaustive list of resources that could help spiritual growth, just pointers on what i’ve found helpful. Would update the page as I discover more. I pray they bless you as they have me and even beyond in Jesus name, amen.

  • Free Bible Software
E-Sword is a FREELY AVAILABLE downloadable Bible software, which can be used offline (helpful for those in Countries where internet access is not much of a luxury). It has various resources like different Bible versions in different languages, commentaries, dictionaries, maps etc. One of the peculiar versions I love on E-Sword is the ‘KJV+’, which is the King James Version along with Strong’s numbers of the Hebrew and Greek words that were translated to English, giving room to delve further into word meanings and aiding Bible study; the Old testament was originally written in Hebrew and the New Testament, Greek. I also personally like and recommend Matthew Henry’s commentary because it is easy to understand and uses several other scriptures to buttress a point on a verse commentary.
There are much more that E-Sword offers. Click on the link to find out more.
  • Audio Bible:
Check this link out to download the Audio KJV for free, the site offers other resources as well. Sometimes, I just like to play the audio bible on any device and follow the Scriptures in my hardcopy Bible or E-Sword. Also, stick headphones in and listen to the Word whilst walking or doing menial tasks; getting the Word in by all means ❤ 😉
  • Websites:;
These are ONLINE Bible study sites with several great resources as well.
One feature i like with the Bible Hub is the Cross References section: when you select a verse, not only do you have several Bible translations of the same verse but also, similar occurrences throughout Scripture.
A feature i like with the Bible Gateway site is the ability to compare different translations of WHOLE CHAPTERS of the Bible SIMULTANEOUSLY; i’ve been able to compare at least five at a time; some translations also have a listening option.
Take your time to explore these sites, i’m sure you’ll find your own unique like features 🙂
  • Blogs:
I can’t remember how i ‘stumbled’ unto this blog, but i thank God i did. This blog has a collection of writings from several departed saints who i’m sure, we can glean much from their walk with God as Scripture enjoins us to emulate such (Hebrews 6:11-12), because nothing is new under the sun (Ecc 1:9).

Warning: There’s so much poisonous teaching out there, which can appear like the real Word of God with Scriptures and all that, but it’s really the doctrine of the devil (1 Tim 4:1-4); there’s a need to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15).

That’s why the Father sent the Holy Ghost (John 14:16), who effectively authored the Word of God – the Bible – to teach us (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20-21). If you’re born again, the Holy Spirit is in you (Romans 8:9); if you are not, you should Meet JESUS. However, the Holy Spirit comes upon you in a greater measure when you are baptised in the Spirit – compare and contrast the quantity of water that flows out of a well and a river (John 4:13-14; 7:37-39). One of His core mission to the believer is to teach the Word as Jesus in person taught the disciples (John 14:26; 1 John 2:27).

You don’t have to fall a victim of false teaching because God – the Holy Spirit who lives in you, is greater:

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but put the spirits to the test to see whether they are from God; for many false teachers have gone out into the world. The test by which you may recognize the Spirit of God is that every spirit which acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come as man is from God, and that no spirit is from God which does not acknowledge this about Jesus. Such is the spirit of the anti-Christ; of whose coming you have heard, and it is already in the world. As for you, dear children, you are God’s children, and have successfully resisted them; for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” I John 4:1-4 WNT

Remember the assuredness and peace you had when you became born again and knew for certain that you ARE a child of God, that clarity of conscience and tender love with God? Don’t ever let that go away, as God also uses such to ensure we don’t succumb to false teaching and lead a holy lifestyle amongst others.

Father, help each of Your Children all over the World, to stay the right path with You; help us guard our hearts Lord and keep us away from any false teaching that the devil wants to use to cause us to deviate from our walk with You in Jesus name, amen.

God bless you 🙂
