Man had unbroken fellowship with God until Adam sinned. Sin alienates man from God (Habakkuk 1:13). All born thereafter into the world were born into sin, but God in His infinite LOVE provided a solution to the sin problem long before it became a problem (God is a long term planner, Revelation 13:8) THROUGH JESUS – THE WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE!
God laid ALL our sin on Jesus at the cross, so that we can have life through Him and the burden of OUR sin removed.
If you receive Jesus, by confessing the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believing God raised Him from the dead in your heart, YOU WOULD BE SAVED AND INSTANTLY MADE A CHILD OF GOD! (Romans 10:9, John 1:12)
This is the FIRST step in RESTORING UNBROKEN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD OUR FATHER!
In the words of the Lord Jesus:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 KJV
” I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9 KJV
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11 KJV
Please, don’t convince yourself that you’re a Christian because you were ‘born Christian’ or have been going to Church for years; it is not by association or mere profession. Believers- disciples of Jesus were first called “Christians” – followers of Christ because their lives reflected who they believed in and followed: JESUS! (Acts 11:26)
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19 Webster Bible
Would you accept the Lord Jesus today?
Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 LITV
This happens when you do so:
Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved. Romans 10:10 ERV
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 KJV
