Happy new month, new quarter, new half of the year and a New Season in your life! In Jesus name, amen.

To start off this month, PneumaWord is presenting a new challenge called: “THE GOSPELS IN A MONTH: THE PURPOSE OF JESUS.”

The challenge is about going through the four gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – and highlighting the purpose of Jesus under two themes:

#1 What He said about His coming to earth e.g.

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10b

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

#2 What others said about Him e.g.
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21
“And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:31-33

It is very important to remind ourselves of these truths, after all, the purpose for life eternal is TO KNOW GOD (John 17:3).

PneumaWord has come up with a workable plan to help achieve this, breaking the books into chapters that can be read over a week each (except for the book of Luke), as shown in the calendar below.

Please start off reading with prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to teach and reveal the Word to you, and watch how exciting this challenge turns out.

Join in this adventure. It would definitely benefit your life.
God bless you and Happy New Season.
